Lockers with antimicrobial protection for companies in the food sector

Müller Dairy, a leader in the UK, develops, manufactures, and markets a wide range of dairy products.

Need

Müller Dairy employs more than 1,400 people, many of whom must wear protective clothing in food production areas that must follow special hygiene regulations. Therefore, the company needed to equip the changing room and locker areas of its Market Drayton facilities, meeting two storage requirements:

• Changing room and personal storage space for employees
• Point for collecting and distributing work clothing

Solution

POLYPAL has a wide range of lockers in terms of types, sizes, and colors. Therefore, it is easy to adapt to the needs and requirements of the client. For the Müller Dairy facilities project, POLYPAL proposed the following configuration:

• For the changing room and personal storage space for employees:
  Single-door individual lockers equipped with a top shelf and clothes hanging bar, which facilitate employee clothing changes and allow them to securely store their personal belongings.
• For the point for collecting and distributing work clothing:
  Clothing dispensing and collecting lockers. Employees deposit their dirty clothes in the collection locker, the laundry service collects these clothes, and once washed, places them in each employee’s locker, who access with their own key to pick up the clean clothes at the start of each new shift.

In this changing room and locker area, benches were also placed in front of the lockers for the greater comfort of employees.

In addition to meeting health and hygiene specifications, all POLYPAL lockers feature patented ActiveCoat protection. This anti-microbial technology, incorporated during the locker manufacturing process, provides constant protection against bacteria, mold, and fungi, helping to create a cleaner and more hygienic work environment.
