Need

In the light of consistent business growth in recent years and increased demand for services from its clients, Servicio Móvil needed to have a new logistics installation in the centre of Madrid (Spain), to maximise the storage capacity for its clients, and reduce delivery times.

Solution

In a 15,200 m² warehouse, POLYPAL installed adjustable narrow aisle pallet racking:

• Storage capacity: 22,520 pallets
• Load unit: EURO pallet of 800 x 1,200 mm
• Maximum load: 1,000 kg/unit
• Maximum storage capacity of the racking: 19,600 pallets.
• Racking with narrow aisle configuration for forklifts articulated to adapt to the handling equipment used by the client.
• Safety and protections:
• Mesh panel enclosures to prevent goods from falling onto adjoining pedestrian and work zones.
• Protections on all exposed uprights and side frame guards on the ends of shelf alignments and evacuation tunnels.
