Personal Data Protection and E-Commerce

The User’s access to the website and the acquisition of products, services, and/or use of content or tools through the website implies the processing of personal data. For POLYPAL Storage Systems, S.A., hereinafter POLYPAL, compliance with regulations on the protection of personal data and on information society services and e-commerce is of utmost importance.

Generally, people who use the website do so without needing to provide any personal data. However, to access products, services, content and/or tools, the User may, in certain cases, need to provide certain personal data. POLYPAL guarantees the confidentiality of the personal data provided by the User, in accordance with the regulations on the Protection of Personal Data, and on Information Society Services and E-Commerce.

POLYPAL complies with current data protection legislation and has adopted the necessary administrative and technical procedures to guarantee the security of the personal data collected.

In this regard, the User is informed and gives consent for their data to be incorporated into the automated files owned by POLYPAL Storage Systems S.A., with its registered office at Calle Bidebarrieta, number 1 A, Iurreta – Vizcaya (Spain), duly registered with the General Registry of Personal Data Protection, and for the automated processing of their data as a result of inquiries, requests, or contracting of any service or product, or any transaction or operation carried out, for the purpose of accessing the information and services provided by POLYPAL through its website, and where applicable, for maintaining the contractual relationship, as well as for sending offers or advertising and promotional communications.

Likewise, the User expressly consents to their personal data being transferred to POLYPAL Representatives and/or Authorized Distributors exclusively for the purposes indicated in the previous paragraph, in the manner and with the limitations established in the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data and in Instruction 1/2000 regarding the rules governing international data transfers.

The User declares that all data provided by them are true and correct and undertakes to inform POLYPAL of any changes that may occur to them. The User has the right to object to the processing of any of their data that is not essential for the execution of the contract and to its use for any purpose other than maintaining their contractual relationship.

POLYPAL’s privacy policy guarantees the User, in all cases, the possibility to exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition regarding their data, by notifying POLYPAL via email at info@polypal.com, or by letter addressed to the attention of the Legal Affairs Department at Bidebarrieta, 1 A, 48.215 Iurreta – Vizcaya (Spain).

Furthermore, and in compliance with Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and E-Commerce, POLYPAL will only send offers or advertising and promotional communications electronically to the User’s email address or via other equivalent electronic means of communication to those users who have expressly granted their consent.

POLYPAL informs the User that they may unsubscribe from this type of communications by following the instructions included at the end of all our emails or by notifying us in writing at the email address info@polypal.com or at the following postal address: POLYPAL Storage Systems, S.A.
