With experience of more than 40 years in the sector and 180 work centres distributed across Spain, it is a national leader in comprehensive health logistics services, information management and business processes, in both the public and the private sector.

Need

In the light of consistent business growth in recent years and increased demand for services from its clients, Servicio Móvil needed to have a new logistics installation in the centre of Madrid (Spain), to maximise the storage capacity for its clients, and reduce delivery times.

Solution

In a 15,200 m² warehouse, POLYPAL installed adjustable narrow aisle pallet racking:

• Storage capacity: 22,520 pallets
• Load unit: EURO pallet of 800 x 1,200 mm
• Maximum load: 1,000 kg/unit
• Maximum storage capacity of the racking: 19,600 pallets.
• Racking with narrow aisle configuration for forklifts articulated to adapt to the handling equipment used by the client.
• Safety and protections:
  1. Mesh panel enclosures to prevent goods from falling onto adjoining pedestrian and work zones.
  2. Protections on all exposed uprights and side frame guards on the ends of shelf alignments and evacuation tunnels.
